Project Overview
Queen’s Wharf Brisbane is a $3.6 billion integrated development, transforming the city’s historic waterfront into a world-class precinct with new hotels, residences, entertainment venues, and public spaces. The development includes the restoration of heritage-listed buildings, making it one of Queensland’s most complex construction projects.
Our Role
Plasta Trade Centre Network was engaged to supply and coordinate internal linings systems, including:
- Siniat Plasterboard, Compounds & Metal Systems
- Kingspan Insulation
- James Hardie Board
- Promat Fire Rated Products
- Autex & Trim-Tex Accessories
- Wallboard Tools
Our Technical team worked closely with our client and the manufacturer to ensure seamless integration of materials while maintaining compliance with strict fire and building codes.

Optimising Project Success
Given its location in Brisbane’s busy CBD, the project required meticulous logistical planning to avoid disruptions to surrounding businesses and road networks.
- Multi-supplier coordination, ensuring all required materials were available when needed.
- Responsive delivery service, adjusting schedules to match the evolving demands of the build.
- Supporting our client through project programming changes through a collaborative approach.
- Due to logistical challenges, Plasta Trade Centre worked with the client by providing flexibility, reliability and deliveries at short notice to ensure our client could complete their project without delay and successfully. This was one of our largest projects to date.
