CONDENSHIELD BLANKET
Ecowool CondenShield, is a light weight, reflective foil faced insulation blanket, designed for fire safety, thermal and acoustic insulation application. Our Ecowool CondenShield is the most effective way to control temperature and will assist in meeting energy efficiency requirements as set out in the Building Code of Australia.
Ecowool CondenShield is designed to be used in both residential and commercial metal or tile roof systems, and under concrete slabs/soffits. The blanket dramatically slows the transfer of heat into and out of your home while also absorbing outside noise, while the reflective foil shields against radiant heat from entering the roof cavity and also controls condensation

Fire Hazard Properties
- Ecowool CondenShield insulation is non-combustible when tested in accordance with AS1530 Part 1: 1994
- Ecowool CondenShield achieves the following Early Fire Hazard Performance Indices of; Ignitability 0, Spread of Flame 0, Heat Evolved 0, Smoke Developed 0-1, in accordance with AS1530.3:1999;
Surface Burning Characteristics
Meets the surface burning characteristics and limited combustibility of the followings standards (plain/unfaced):  ASTM E84
Thermal Conductivity
Complies with ASTM C518 at 23˚C mean temperature. Please refer to the table on products available for more information on the thermal resistance. Ecowool CondenShield complies with AS/NZS 4859:1-2002 “Material used in the thermal insulation of a building”, and the Building Code of Australia (BCA)
